POEM #1

I decided to take  break and include one off my poems which I occasionally write but I will be writing  more substantial article either later today or tomorrow.  Peaceful silence disrupted in the streets as the fighting returns, engaging humanity to work in unity to save the community, as children and teens suffer the most within the coldness of society, claiming the youth of today for darker meaner deeds, examples of teens who have seen the errors of their ways. As adolescents cease fighting and become rays of positiveness neglecting the old ways of fighting when the streets fall quiet, demonstrate the good that they can do within society. Hope and tranquillity fill the streets when the killing stops, obstruction and destructiveness cease in activity and unite with society people uniting to be better than before and more increase productivity engaging and encouraging each other unique individuality.

fleeing from Domestic Abuse, Domestic Violence and Coercive Control

When i left i didnot have a plan or anything, I didnt knowwhat to do or how to feel i must admit i switched to automatic for a while after i left.  My best advice is if your going to leave an abusive relationship i think the most important things for you to take is on the list below. Remember 1. Any important phone numbers police, medical, your domestic violence risk officers number, social worker (if appropriate ), childrens school (if appropriate), womens aid number/ refuge number. 2. teach any children to call 999 or 911 if your in america 3.  if theres neighbours you trust tell them and get them to help plan and practice escape routes 4. Try to keep some money on you at all times 5. if you think your about to be attacked do what i did on many occassions go to somewhere you can away from the person whose threatening you. 6. be prepared to run in an emergency situation WHAT TO TAKE 1. Identification  birth certificate, your children's birth certif...

Finances and me

You know I sit here and watch programs about people on benefits and it amazes me how people are getting so much.  when in reality the vast majority of us live day by day and are scraping by on very little money. I don’t have money for luxury items or to go to the cinema, I don’t have the money to go to the pub for a quick pint or soda. I don’t often have money for fish and chips this is something I need to cook from scratch.  But there's this misunderstanding that everyone on benefits is rolling in the money which is totally wrong.   With this in mind I have suffered mental ill health for a number of years, suffer from bursitis in the hips. So yes I am on benefits but not that I want to be on benefits for the rest of my life, I study through Open learn and have products on tee-spring, all ready for promoting next year once I am able to. Its not a case of I don’t want to save because I do want to save its simply a case I cant afford to save no matter how I separate ...

Addiction and me

In my last post I mentioned my drinking is under control this is a common factor in many women even men who have gone through domestic abuse/domestic violence and coercive control. Even once they are in refuge situations because it is a common coping mechanism to block things out. The only thing as i have learnt so many times before the issues are still there when you sober up, and you often feel worse than you did before. So why do we reach for the bottle or in some cases drugs ?  it brings us the few hours calmness and numbs it for the few solitary hours we are under the influence for. Often going to the pub is a good place to meet people i know i used to did this myself many years ago but im now a solitary drinker.  If you suffer depression take it from me ive suffered the for years alcohol and drugs only serves to make it worse.    Alcohol and drug abuse is all to common but it does not have to be there are places to get help again these are things i am just...
